The trouble with the Horde, as I call them, began sometime in September of 2004 or maybe shortly before that date. I had decided that being in their community was wrong. Most anyone who has visited that web forum knows that it consists mostly of verbal assaults on people whom are usually not members of their community, such as members of the MLPTP. A lot of those people don't even know someone is trash talking them unless someone else alerts them to the matter.

After having watched someone be verbally abused by these hateful people, I decided it was high time I resigned and left the community, which I did peacefully. I simply posted a thread telling where I would be if contact with me was needed, and then I left. I had very little intention of returning there, as I had other things that were more pressing to attend to in my life than a bunch of heartless harpies. My leaving apparently stirred some sort of defense in them. They seemed to be thinking I had turned against them somehow. I saw little bits of evidence of that in things such as the removal of artwork I had done for certain members from their signatures and their reluctance or refusal to speak to me outside the Ponyland's Catfights message forum.

With this going on, I decided it was high time to do a friends list cleaning of my Live Journal. If the people in question wanted to remain on my friends list, they had nothing greater to do than simply reply to the entry with a "keep me" comment. They'd have remained on the list. A few days after the editing was done, an entry was made, stating that anyone who was removed and didn't want to be could very easily just comment and be added back. The people in question were "Loa" and "Abasca", whom did not reply to either entry.

Some time after this, I'm told that my name is being mentioned on the CF board. When I go and see this for myself, I find that everyone is up in arms simply because a couple people were removed from my Live Journal friends list. Two of the people involved were not even on my list to begin with, so they had no business complaining about it anyway. "Loa" complained, but I can't say that I recall "Abasca" having complained about it, though she may have.

Some time after this, I am told again that someone is speaking against me. I check, and I find that "Nice N Spicy", whom I do believe is a moderator of the MLP Arena forum, had written an entire thread full of slander against me. She tried to claim I had misused the money sent to me to help my family when we were in a very tough spot (I never ASKED for this to be done. I posted a thread to vent my emotions about my family's situation on a forum where I THOUGHT I was amongst friends, and "Abasca" rallied people together to send me money and other needed things. My address was GIVEN OUT at that point, by people who'd traded with me in the past). The money given to us was used for food, gasoline, and the power bill. The sum of the money given was only between $50-$75. I didn't receive hundreds of dollars, which it seems a lot of these people think I did, and I never refused care packages of food or other needed items. Two people who can back that up are "Xayide2" and "Analise", whom are on my friends list in my Live Journal.

"Nice N Spicy" began by trying to claim that I had used the money to purchase a pony on eBay. The only pony I had purchased at all for months at the time of this accusation was a Merriweather that didn't stand on her own that I paid a grand total (shipping and all) of $6.85 on. Money to pay for this pony was made from an art commission I did for "Pink Jubie". I never used donated money to purchase My Little Ponies with. I was thus forced to change my eBay ID because she was trying to label me as a scammer, and I NEEDED the money I made on eBay sales to get by at that time.

I was accused also of "making up" my exbest friend, Priscilla. Priscilla and I had been best friends from the time we were 5 and 6 years old, and remained so until 2003. We're not as close as we used to be, but that doesn't mean we don't still love each other. She was in a bad way, and having been in a bad way myself, I knew what it was like. I wanted to help her, but didn't know how. Since the pony community had been so kind to me, I was thinking someone might pass a little kindness to her while she was in need. It isn't as though I held a gun to their heads and told them to give money to my friend. They were trying to claim I had made her up in order to get more money from them and "scam" them.

It was stated that just because my family and I own a 2000 Impala that I was lying about our money troubles. The Impala happens to be the only car my family and I own. I walk to work, and my husband takes the car to his job. My mother in law helped us get this car, and without her, we'd not have a car at all! Dealerships don't finance older cars. We tried. We wanted a $6,000 Chevy instead of the one we got. They refused to finance it because it was a 1997 model. Let's face it. Everyone needs a car. Especially when you live in an area as spread out as the one we're in. Not everyone is lucky enough to live within walking distance of important places.

I LOVE to LOOK at ponies, whether it's a pony on a store shelf or a picture of a pony on the internet. Because I always go to the MLP section of any store to look at their ponies, new or not, it has been said I always go to BUY these ponies. This is not true. I actually don't buy ponies very often. At the point in which it was said I had been doing this, I couldn't buy them at all. Now, I only buy a very few, which I really love. Otherwise, I leave them behind.

There has been an incident in which I tried to made a purchase of five Big Brother MLP's from a member by the name of "llunaln". She told me she'd get back to me on the prices for them, and when I'd mention it or flat out ask her how much she would want for them, she'd always say she hadn't decided. She moved, which I understood, and was away for a long time. By the time she'd returned, I had figured that she would have had a price for them. I had also gotten a job, and had saved money from commissions, eBay sales, and from my job so I could buy the ponies from her when she'd given me the price. Instead of selling the ponies to me, she told me she didn't want to sell the ponies to me. She said that because of my financial problems, she didn't want to sell, and that she hadn't wanted to sell them to me from the beginning. Instead of being honest with me, she strung me along and lied to me for several months, even though I had made arrangements to get the money.

The electricity to our home was turned off shortly after hurricane Ivan swept through the coast in autumn of 2004. This was NOT OUR FAULT. The hurricane drained our pool of money, and the power company raised their rates by over 60%, which spiked the energy bill to a horribly high amount. We had to pay over $600 in order to get the power turned back on, which was a stretch for us after having the hurricane come through. Singing River Electric Power is notorious for tacking on hidden charges and spiking their rates. They have no competition, and everyone in Gautier hates to have to use them. It's not just us.

The following are actual quotes by "Nice N Spicy", trying to defame me:

Even though she has an extremely limited educational background (does not own any high school diploma or equivalency) she has had extreme difficulty in choosing what she wanted to do with her 'career' (meaning whether she should work fulltime, even in the throes of mounting bills, cut off utilities, and her being the only person in her family to actually own a full-time job).

Not having a highschool diploma is not "extremely limited educational background". Never once was I asked if I had a GED. I was trying to make a hard choice to become full time at my career with Lowe's, or stay where I was. I was deathly afraid of making the decision to become full time because I didn't want to do anything that might disappoint my boss, as I had looked to him as a grandfather and an actual member of my real family. I was always worried I would do something that would upset him. Thus, making the choice a lot harder for me.
The second point about this I'd like to make is that Lowe's IS a career. If you don't think so, then please go to dictionary.com and look up the word "career". On that note, she (and apparently no one else in the Horde) has no idea how terrible the job market is in this area. Finding high paying jobs is extremely difficult.
The third point to this I want to make is that I was NOT the only one working in my family at that point in time. I'm assuming that's what she meant when she said, "Her being the only person in her family to actually own a full-time job." I don't live alone, which it also seems that they think. I'm married. My husband was working at that time, as was I, and my mother was receiving checks every month. My mother is disabled and lives with us. She uses her checks to help  pay the bills.Wherever she got that idea is beyond me.

She has a newer vehicle that requires monthly payments, owns a house that she has problems making bills on, and yet seems to continually seek out new ponies one way or another.

I already explained why I have a "newer" vehicle. Also, the house she's speaking about was a doublewide mobile home which I HAD to get when I was 19 years old. I won't go into too much detail as to why I had gotten the home, but I will tell you this: My grandmother was the one who actually had the loan. She passed away 4 months after the home was purchased, and I kept paying the payments because they were cheaper than rent. The home was purchased to replace the mobile home we'd been living in on the same property prior to this, which was old and in too much need of repair to try and worry with. The bit about continually seeking out new ponies confuses me. I'm going to have to assume she means I meant to purchase new My Little Ponies, as this would go along with the theme of everything she says about me, but that wasn't true. I already explained that before. Please go back and read above if you missed it.

note additionally that Saturn DOES further her collecting by creating artwork and trading for ponies and sometimes cash, thus a form of work, however at the expense of working fulltime in RL perhaps in order to make own ends meet.

False. While I DO accept commissions for cash and for ponies, I DON'T neglect going to work at any place of business just to do art as work. I draw and create art IN MY SPARE TIME when I'm OFF FROM WORK. "Nice N Spicy" made a huge assumption when she said this, and I can't fathom why she did it.

Which brings to conclusion that her financial situation once again is the result not of cruel cruel fate, but a person choosing not to work as an adult for a living when presented with the opportunity to.

I do believe everything in relation to this statement was already made. I don't believe in fate, either. I believe that a person's situation is only as good as their circumstances. "Nice N Spicy" doesn't live in south Mississippi. She lives in an urbanized area where I'm going to have to assume the job market is fairly decent. She wouldn't last a year here in MS if she tried.

Saturn however seems to like using the routine of "will do artwork for ponies and money..really need money right now, etc" instead of working full time like an adult in her situation should when presented the opportunity.

I would like to think of this as an example of how "Nice N Spicy" goes in circles a lot. She already brought this up, and I already explained it. I'm not always offering commissions, but I do almost always accept them, be it for money or for ponies. If I'm offering, then it's because I either want a specific pony and would like to trade artwork for it, or I'm trying to gather money for something specific, such as to buy a certain pony. Again, I don't neglect working to do art.

"Nice N Spicy" also made some mentions of comments I had made, such as when I said that there were no new ponies in my area; only old ponies that had been there forever. And when I had said I hoped they had the first winter pony set at the Mall of America when I would have been going there at the end of October of 2003. My mother in law bought the winter set for me, and she had promised she would before we even left for Minnesota. If you're curious, she paid for my husband and my plane tickets to MN from MS in order for my husband to be in his sister's wedding.

"Nice N Spicy" made mention of how I had made the original venting post on the MLP Arena as a way to get the burden off my chest. As I had said, I THOUGHT I was amongst friends. At the end of the post, I had said that I was sorry if I bothered anybody, and I only wanted to get it out of my system. I wasn't asking for handouts.

She had said that I had intended to buy ponies from Goddess of Dusk and Dawn. Oh, please. Everybody knew that she was lying about the 500 mint in box ponies from Egypt. Don't make me roll my eyes...

For some reason, it was mentioned that I had sold a nickle on eBay, which I did. My husband found a nickle that had been beaten up on one part of it so that one of the numbers looked like a 2, which would set the nickle as having been made in the future. I made a little story up about it and posted it on eBay. I was selling the story, not so much the nickle. Whomever bought it seemed happy, so I don't know what the problem with that was.

The red highlighted areas indicated monies sent to me by pony people. Crystal/Pink Jubie is not involve in this, but I did want to point out that she sent me $6 to me through PP. This was for a commission she bought from me. It was of the Chibi Buzzer I drew. As you can see, NO money was SENT OUT of my Paypal account. Money was ONLY coming IN to the account. The pony she accused me of using money from these donations to buy was purchased on October 22. At least one month prior to donations being sent to us, which started on November 1st.

I REPEAT, DONATIONS BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 1, 2003 AND DID NOT EXCEED PAST THE END OF THAT MONTH AND DID NOT EXCEED $75 TOTAL. I OBTAINED A JOB IN LATE NOVEMBER, AND CONTINUED TO HAVE A PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT FROM THAT POINT ON!!

Time goes by...

My cat, Maurice, died of mysterious causes. Later I phoned the vet and explained what had happened to him, and it apparently was some sort of brain condition that took him. While I was in a state of unknowing, I decided to post a topic on the MLPTP about it, hoping someone would have an answer for me. "BleedingWillow", one of the nastiest of the Horde, attacked me out of nowhere, flaming me and cursing at me. She and someone else from the Horde said and did things in that thread which got it locked before I was able to come back and even see that it had been done. Because of how horrible she had been about it, I thanked "Satin Slipper" for locking the post so she couldn't spread her filth anymore.

After this happened, I got hateful instant messages on my AIM about my cat.Again, I was being stalked and harassed. People were accusing me of all sorts of strangeness, such as harassing MLP Arena moderators on MSN, and trolling the MLP Arena. My Live Journal and my other journal were being invaded. People were told I was crazy, and that they shouldn't talk to me. They even tried to flood my DA gallery, as my hits went up by nearly 100 within only a couple minutes time. To this day, I'm still being stalked and harassed.

They threatened to call the Humane Society to come and take my pets away. I gave them the phone number and addresses, but they were too chicken to carry through with what they threatened. All because THEY said I was at fault for Maurice's passing, and that I deserved for him to die.

I have done everything in my power to get away from these people. I don't talk to them or try to talk to them. Yet, they speak of me as if I'm a constant troll of their stupid websites.

I was accused of impersonating "Abasca" by "Twilight Starshine". No evidence of this was ever presented to me. Not like they ever present any evidence to back up their statements against me, anyway, because they don't have any to give.

Close to Christmas time in 2004, "Clever Canadian" (one of the worst slanderers), "accidentally" IMed me. While I was as nice as could be to her, she did nothing but call me names and use profanity.

They accused a member of the pony community by the name of "Pink Panther Baby" of being me, which of course got her banned on the MLPTP and nearly ruined her reputation. She finally worked things out and proved she wasn't me. Sadly, she joined their ranks afterwards. Had it been me, I'd have told them off for what they'd done. After all, THEY got her banned and THEY didn't want to believe her JUST because ONE person in their group said she was who she wasn't. Some friends...

"Abasca" threatened to remove anyone from her friends list who was on my friends list. Yet she said she was a better Christian than me. Hm.

After time, that ONE pony "Nice N Spicy" was trying to accuse me of buying with the money donated to me turned into MANY ponies somehow. I suppose that when I showed evidence that proved my innocence, she had to try to come up with something else, which meant she had to resort to lying.

I'm not the only victim of the Horde's wrath, of course. Remember, they got "Pink Panther Baby" banned and almost ruined her reputation. They have also accused other members of the My Little Pony community of things they didn't do. Example, they accused "Ericslove" of impersonating people in the MLPTP chatroom, and on AIM. Because of what they said about her, she was banned from the forums until the real culprit finally confessed.

My name is RACHEL LEIN!! I am a REAL HUMAN BEING with REAL FEELINGS. I am utterly and completely SICK OF THIS and how I'm treated because of some low life SCUM who hang around spreading gossip and lies about people on an internet message forum! THESE PEOPLE ARE CYBERSTALKERS!!! Be extremely cautious when dealing with them!
